Our placement schools:

Eastlea Community School

A co-educational community school in Canning Town, Newham. Our aim is for all students, regardless of their starting point, to achieve their full potential in their academic outcomes as well as their personal development. We work to ensure that all students are academically challenged in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. We are dedicated to the safety and well-being of every child in our care and this is reflected in our strong pastoral system. Our  committed staff work together to ensure that our students are provided with opportunities to achieve academically and to flourish as part of a wider school community. Our aim is that our students are given the chance to discover lifelong interests as well as a love of learning.

Lister Community School

Situated in Plaistow, east London, and is a specialist school in music and science.  We are a mixed comprehensive secondary school and welcome both students and staff from a diverse multicultural background. With around 1,350 students, Lister is a larger than the average school in Newham.  All our students have the opportunity to study a broad curriculum, which will ensure they are ready for the top colleges and universities. We have excellent teaching in the traditional academic subjects, and a broad and rich curriculum with our students having the chance to study Art, Computing, Photography, Spanish, Business Studies, Dance, Drama, and much more.

Rokeby School

Is one of two all boys schools in the borough. As such we can cater specifically for the learning styles and social needs of boys. Our aim is to get the best out of every student; excellence in teaching and learning is therefore at the heart of our work. Our vision is based on five core values: Respect, Success, Passion for Learning, Personal Challenge and Harmony. In working towards instilling these values in our students, we strive to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment for all. Our curriculum allows students to develop socially, behaviorally and academically at their own pace and in their own unique ways.

Sarah Bonnell School

A wonderful girls school where achievement and well-being are at the centre of everything we do. The school has a great track record for teaching girls in an innovative and engaging way and this has an impressive impact on achievement.  Sarah Bonnell is a happy school because it is based upon the right values. Our values, which were developed by students, give important guidance for all members of the school community to follow: Be Proud. Aim High. Work Hard. Be Kind. No Excuses. As a result, Sarah Bonnell School is buzzing with positive attitudes and behaviour and is a place where staff inspire and support all girls to be the best that they can be.
