School improvement
At the heart of our Trust’s offer to both our school and to the wider community of schools of which we are part is improving the educational outcomes for every one of the children and young people in our care – as per our Strategic Objectives page.
Aside from supporting our own family of schools, our Trust acts as the Lead School Improvement Partner for a local primary school. Key aspects of our school improvement offer include:
- Central Team senior executive support to our Headteachers, via a programme of both regular formal and informal check-in meetings;
- A series of Trust wide networks which members of all schools both part of NCL and working alongside us have access to – eg. DSL Network, Literacy Group, Maths Group, Curriculum Group, SEND Group, Behaviour Group and Early Career Framework Group – supported by the Central Team;
- Termly joint Twilight Meetings for all teaching staff, where knowledge can be shared and best practice discussed;
- Trust wide reviews, in areas such as literacy, maths, behaviour and safeguarding – all of which have been undertaken recently; and
- Access to the expertise of our Director of Education, our Director of Staff Development, and our Director of Student Support.
Partnership is integral to how we operate as a group of schools to serve our community – as per our Purpose and Ethos page. We welcome working in a number of styles of partnership – please get in touch via our Contact Us page or by emailing Anthony Wilson, CEO on [email protected].
